Blessings and PVP Guide
Blessings and PVP Guide

Blessings can be obtained by players to reduce the amount of experience, skills and items forfeited in death. There are a total of 6 blessings: The Spiritual Shielding, The Embrace of Tibia, The Fire of the Suns, The Spark of the Phoenix, The Wisdom of Solitude and Twist of Fate.

After death a character loses all blessings, except if the character was blessed with the Twist of Fate and is killed by other players (only Twist of Fate will be lost then). You can check which blessings you have already bought by using The Oracle statue at temple. The price of the blessings is a function of level, the more level the more cost of the blessings.

The PVP system is regulated by our Skull System which also affects blessings when there is abusive behaivor among players.

Where recieve blessings?

Blessings NPC

Blessings NPC

To receive the five blessings of Tibia, you need to find Loui, an NPC located outside the western walls of the village, as shown in the image. Use the 'blessings' keyword to purchase your blessings.

Loui charges gold coins for each blessing, with the cost depending on your level. Alternatively, you can visit Cipfried in the temple. He charges 25 Tibia Coins for all the blessings at once. This option is particularly useful in emergencies, such as during wars when your rivals might be waiting outside the temple.

In both cases, you can purchase the "Twist of Fate" blessing for gold coins. This special blessing prevents you from losing your other blessings in PvP battles.

PVP System Explantation

After reaching level 8, However, excessive player killing is regulated by the Skull System to prevent it from getting out of control. Players can freely engage in player versus player (PvP) combat.

Players cannot deal damage to characters who wear the same detail color. This allows team color battles, for example color Red Vs color Blue without getting friendly fire or during group combat against a common enemy. The neutral color is black as is populary the color used to avoid conflict among the community.

Additionally, there is a distinction between "ok kills" (kills of marked characters) and "unjustified kills" (kills of unmarked characters), with tougher sanctions for excessive unjustified kills.

Choose Your Team Color

Choose Your Team Color

To choose your Team Color simply right click your character and choose the 'Set Outfit' option.

In this case, we stay neutral to the server using the popular color 'Black' as shown in the image. However keep in mind that any other player who is wearing another color will be able to freely attack you.

Players cannot deal damage to characters who wear the same detail color.

Skull System Explantation

The Skull System is a system that was made to make sure that Player Killing wouldn't get out of control. When a player attacks someone who is not skulled, he/she gets a white skull. If a player kills someone with a white, red, yellow, black or green skull they won't get skulled.

Every unjustified kill will grant a player a frag. The more frags, the bigger the penalty will be.

White Skull

White Skull

A player will get white skull if they attack or kill another player. If they only attack, the skull will remain until the Logout Block is gone ( you will also receive a Protection Zone Block 'till logout block is gone, together with the White Skull ). However, if they kill another player, they will get white skull for 15 minutes, and every offense against other players during that time will reset the time, so player killers will have to wait another 15 minutes.

Killing a white skulled player is a justified kill. However, if you attack someone with a white skull, they will see a yellow skull on your character, and be able to defend themselves without punishment. If you finally kill a White Skull you will have to wait a minute to lose the Protection Zone Block.

An unmarked player has right to defend himself without punishment and enter Protection Zone, even if he strikes back. However if other player joins combat to aid the unmarked player, he will recieve a Protection Zone Block, even if he attacks a skull marked player.

Red Skull

Red Skull

A player gets a red skull if they kill:

Three or more unmarked characters in one day (24 hours)

Five or more unmarked characters in one week (7 days), or

Ten or more unmarked characters in one month (30 days).

A red skull will last for the 30 days following the last unjust kill over the allowed amount. If you pass the allowed limit again this will cause the one-month red skull penalty to start over. A red-skulled player who dies will drop all items, regardless of whether they have blessings or wear an Amulet of Loss! This will encourage players to hunt and to punish players who have a red skull.

The Twist of Fate blessing does not work for red-skulled characters, so when a red skull dies (even when it's during PvP!), they lose any regular blessings, but will keep Twist of Fate.

If you encounter a red-skull player on your screen, be cautious! Random player killers often have red skulls, and they kill just enough players to not get a black skull. Of course, players not marked with skulls can be random player killers too, but a red-skull indicates an aggressive person.

Black Skull

Black Skull

A player gets a black skull if they kill:

Six or more unmarked characters in one day (24 hours),

Ten or more unmarked characters in one week (7 days), or

Twenty or more unmarked characters in one month (30 days).

When a player has a black skull they will no longer be able to attack an unmarked player - that is any player without a skull. In addition to this, a black-skulled player may not use area Attack Spells and Attack Runes.

They also cannot summon creatures or strike spells (i.e. Energy Strike) which are not aimed at a target.

A black skull will remain on a character for a total of 45 days. Whenever a black-skulled character is killed, he/she will respawn in temple with 40 hitpoints and 0 mana. Black-skulled character, like a red-skulled, who dies will drop all items regardless of whether they have blessings or wear an Amulet of Loss. Black-skulled character will receive 100% damage in PvP combat instead of 50%.

Yellow Skull

Yellow Skull

A player will receive a yellow skull if they attack someone marked with a black, red or white skull. The attacker is yellow skulled only for his victim; this is done because even player killers have the right to defend themselves against other players that might try to kill them. Killing someone with a yellow skull will be a justified kill.

Yellow Skulls are special. If a player who has a black, red ,white or revenge skull is attacked by an unmarked player, the attacker will get a yellow skull which is visible only to the player he attacked. This allows even a black skull to kill in self-defense without receiving extra penalties.

Green Skull

Green Skull

A green skull indicates that the player is a member of your party. As any skull, killing a green skull will be a justified kill.

Note that by choosing same detail color as your party members in the outfiter you can avoid friendly fire in party.

Check your Blessings and Frags

Check your Blessings and Frags

In order to check which blessings you posses, you can simply use The Oracle statue at the Temple, It will also display your frags to keep track of your PVP behaivor.

It is also possible to recieve blessings from Blessings Charms that you may find in Quests or defeating Bosses, charms have the same effect as blessings.

There are also some magical items that can display your current frags when you use them, they can be quite useful to track your kills if you are in a war.
